White christmas's are pretty rare around here so it was pretty exciting when we realised we were going to have a white one! In between cooking and baking we played outside building a snowman, taking photos and trying to get Maisie to like it. She was pretty suspicious after she toppled headfirst into a pile of snow and decided she wanted to be carried after that.

As the sun went down and everything got colder outside, we settled into our warmth inside....a perfect christmas day.
